With only one month until the American Thanksgiving Celebration, USA Tourist Boards are arriving in Birmingham to give thanks to travel agents in the West Midlands.

On 26 November, the US Travel Association and its partners will host more than 100 travel agents based in the West Midlands at a special event at Birmingham International Airport. 

Destinations including Colorado, Utah, Missouri, Great Lakes of North America and other destinations will be hosting an American inspired luncheon and training afternoon at which the agents will be offered the change to win spot prizes and the grand prize of a dream holiday to the USA.

Yolanda Fletcher, Marketing Director at Cellet Travel Services, whose clients will be represented at the event said “This is the first time such an event has been held for agents in the West Midlands and at Birmingham International Airport.  Our clients wish to incentivise and thank agents who sell the USA on their doorstep.  The USA is easily accessible with daily flights from Birmingham and we hope this unique opportunity will increase sales for the peak booking period of January 2010.”
